Arts Alive is a free enrichment program where students in grades K-5 can express themselves and be creative during afterschool hours. With talented staff and students, Arts Alive is a safe space to bring the artistic passions of our students to life through the visual, musical and performing arts. All ticket proceeds help fund our costume, props and set design budget for the show.

Experience the magic of Broadway at Manatee Elementary School with our dsspring production of Disney's The Lion King Jr. This spectacular 60-minute stage production brings the beloved story of Simba to life as he journeys from outcast cub to rightful King of the Pride Lands. Featuring unforgettable songs from the classic Lion King, such as “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” this show celebrates courage, family, friendship, and discovering your true destiny.
For the first time ever, Manatee Elementary presents a special, double-night Arts Alive performance with two back-to-back show dates and show times, giving you twice the chance to catch the excitement. With dynamic choreography by Ms. Ana Soto, Ms. Michelle Centeno, Ms. Jessica Vazquez , Ms. Leah Engram and Ms. Jade Ingram, this two act show promises high-energy performances, stunning visuals, and heartwarming moments for the whole family!
